Promote Today’s Technology Solutions Through the Business Connection Platform

U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) Business Connection (BC) is an online platform that allows technology companies to pitch their products and services to various CBP offices. Business Connection provides a streamlined way for technology corporations that do business in the United States to share their newest technology that aligns with CBP’s mission of protecting the American people, safeguarding the U.S. borders, and enhancing the nation’s economic prosperity.

CBP welcomes all U.S. technology companies to register on Business Connection and share their modern solutions.

Opportunity and Growth for Your Company

  • Greater Outreach – Over 235+ companies and 297+ users are using Business Connection to expand the reach of their technology solutions.
  • Faster Connections – CBP’s Business Connection connects your company with the right office and the right people, guaranteeing that your company’s services and products have the best possible outcome. BC’s process has cut the old wait time by 50% from company registration to the first meeting date.
  • Higher Meeting Rate – Scheduled meetings increased by nearly 40% from before the launch of Business Connection. This was made possible thanks to the ability to access multiple CBP offices at once through Business Connection.

One Registration Connects You to Multiple CBP Offices

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is comprised of several offices, with varying mission and technology needs, that support the CBP mission in specific ways. Currently, CBP’s Business Connection allows registered technology companies to request meetings with:

  • The Office of Information Technology (OIT)
  • The CBP Innovation Team (INVNT)
  • The Office of Field Operations (OFO)
  • U.S. Border Patrol (USBP)
  • The Office of Trade’s (OT) Business Transformation and Innovation Division (BTID)

Once your company is registered within Business Connection, you can add your company’s products and services, request meetings with any participating offices, add associates to the account, and submit materials.
