ACE Reports Information Notice

Updates to Reports Capabilities - November 2018

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) continues to create new data universes and reports, as well as enhance current reports to meet the needs of the trade community.  Please see below for recent and upcoming updates regarding ACE reports and data universes.  

Upcoming Deployment of Consolidated PGA Message Set Universe

CBP has consolidated the PGA Message Set – Cargo and PGA Message Set – Entry Summary universes into a single PGA Message Set universe which is scheduled to deploy before the end of 2018.  The consolidated PGA Message Set universe provides users access to a greater amount of data as well as the ability to run reports in a single universe.

Upcoming Deployment of New Drawback Universe and Reports

CBP will deploy a new Drawback universe before the end of 2018.  Claimants will be able to view data from their own claims, including header and entry summary line data. As a non-claimant, importers will be able to view header data as well as line level data associated with their own entry summaries listed in drawback claims.  Drawback filers will be able to view data for the claims they have filed.  The available reports are listed in the table below.

Drawback Claim Details

This report is available for importers and brokers and provides data on type 47 entry summaries.  This report is available to drawback claimants via the Importer role and to drawback filers via the Broker role.  

ES-609

Non-Claimant Importer Drawback Header

This report allows importers who are non-claimants to view header and entry summary data from drawback claims they have submitted.  This report is available using the Importer role.

ES-610

Non-Claimant Importer Drawback Details

This report allows Importers who are non-claimants to view line level data for entry summaries associated with their import of record number for drawback claims they have submitted.  This report is available using the Importer role.

Updated Cargo Release Universe Deployed in Parallel with Current Cargo Release Universe

CBP has updated and re-deployed the Cargo Release universe which contains additional objects.  The available reports are listed in the table below.

Previously labeled CR-005, this report provides detailed data on entries submitted by the trade community.

CR-002

Cargo Release Line Details New

Previously labeled CR-004, this report provides detailed data on entry lines submitted by the trade community.

CR-005

Cargo Release Entry Status New

Previously labeled CR-009, this report lists cargo entries that have been filed but not released (or cancelled) sorted by the number of days since the entry was filed.

CR-006

Cargo Release Importer Lookup New 

Previously labeled CR-002, this report, available for PGAs, provides address information and aggregate counts for importers listed on entry submissions.  It is meant to serve as a replacement for the Accounts tab search function in ACE previously available to Partner Government Agencies (PGAs).

CR-007

Cargo Release Manufacturer Lookup New

Previously labeled CR-003, this report, available for PGAs, provides address information and aggregate counts for manufacturers listed on entry submissions.  It is meant to serve as a replacement for the Accounts tab search function in ACE previously available to Partner Government Agencies (PGAs).

CR-008

Cargo Release Broker Lookup New

Previously labeled CR-006, this report, available for PGAs, provides address information and aggregate counts for brokers who have filed entries.  It is meant to serve as a replacement for the Accounts tab search function in ACE previously available to PGAs.

Updated In-Bond Reports

CBP has created additional in-bond reports to replace the MMM-6009 In-Bond Details Report. These are located in the Cargo Release workspace for carriers, and are described in the table below.

In-Bond Details

This report replaces MMM-6009 and provides in-bond details for cargo transited to another location for entry or exportation.  

MNFST-003

Carrier  IRS Details

This report provides in-bond details associated to a carrier IRS number.  

Transitioning to Entry Summary Universe and Reports
CBP is entering the first phase of retiring the Account Management (AM) and Entry Summary Management (ESM) universes to fully transition to the Entry Summary (ES) universe.  Below is the table listing the legacy AM and ESM reports to be retired in the first phase.  Please begin using the entry summary equivalent of an AM and/or ESM report.

Harmonized Tariff Schedule Universe Updates      

CBP has updated the HTS universe to include the codes and descriptions of each PGA’s CATAIR flags, as well as each of the U.S. Government Program codes.  The REF-001 report has been updated to include these new data objects.  A new report, titled REF-002 USDA/AMS HTS Fees, contains USDA/Agricultural Marketing Service fee amount data for certain HTS codes.

HTS Reference

This report identifies the HTS codes under each PGA’s regulatory jurisdiction per of its ACE/ITDS Memorandum of Understanding, as well as the codes and descriptions of each agency’s CATAIR flags.

REF-002

USDA/AMS HTS Fees

This report provides the fee amounts that CBP collects on behalf of USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) on the imports of products identified by certain HTS codes.
