CBPO(t) Cody Olafson

CBP Officer Trainee Cody Olafson passed away on May 20, 2022 after suffering a medical emergency while participating in training  at Glynco, Georgia.  

CBPO(t) Olafson entered on duty on January 18, 2022 and began his training with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Field Operations Academy on Feb. 16, 2022.  He was assigned to the Pembina, North Dakota, Port of Entry in the Seattle Field Office.  Friends and co-workers described CBPO(t) Olafson as a patriotic, giving and loving man who was dedicated to his country, his family and to CBP. He is survived by his mother, sister, and stepfather.
