Guidance for Sureties, Surety Agents, Importers and Brokers acting on behalf of an Importer to update Secondary Notify Party (SNP) codes for existing bonds has been posted at

Additional Data Elements

Additional data elements may be required if the bond is being transmitted to RDBT for processing. The following elements should be included in the email transmission to RDBT for those Sureties/Surety Agents not utilizing EDI:

  • Single Transaction Bond
  • Secondary Notify Party (if applicable) – include 7 or 9 characters (SNP Guidance)
  • Surety Filer Routing Code (if applicable)
  • Transaction Number (required)
  • Entry Type (required)
  • Continuous Bond
  • Secondary Notify Party (if applicable) – include 7 or 9 characters (SNP Guidance)
  • Surety Filer Routing Code (if applicable)
