Border Patrol Agents Prevent Human Smuggling Attempt, Apprehend 11 Illegal Aliens

LAREDO, Texas – Border Patrol agents assigned to the Freer Border Patrol Station recently disrupted a human smuggling attempt involving a vehicle traveling on Farm Market Road 2050, arresting 11 illegal aliens in the enforcement action.

On August 28, Border Patrol agents received a citizen’s report about a suspicious vehicle traveling on Farm Market Road 2050 near the Cedro Hills Wind Farm.  Agents encountered the vehicle, a maroon Chevrolet pickup truck, at the main gate of the wind farm. Upon encounter, agents witnessed several subjects absconding to the brush.  After a search of the area, agents arrested a total of 11 illegal aliens.

All of the individuals were processed accordingly and the vehicle used in the smuggling attempt was seized by the United States Border Patrol.
