Emergency Driving Including Vehicular Pursuits by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Personnel: Directive 4510-026

The purpose of this Directive is to establish U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) policy governing emergency driving including vehicle pursuits.

On January 20, 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) rescinded CBP Directive No. 4510-026A, dated March 20, 2023, and issued a requirement for an Emergency Driving and Vehicular Pursuits working group to draft formal recommendations on policy modifications within 45 days of the memorandum.
