Off Duty Arrest of Border Patrol Agent

MARFA, Texas – An off-duty Big Bend Sector Border Patrol agent was arrested by the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office late in the afternoon of January 17, 2020. The agent was taken into custody on a warrant for continuous sexual assault of a child.

CBP takes all allegations of misconduct very seriously and does not tolerate criminal activity within its ranks.

CBP is cooperating with the investigation and will defer to the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office for additional information.
