Yuma Announces 25 Vacancies for New Job Opportunities within the Sector

YUMA, Ariz. – Yuma Sector Border Patrol announces the creation of 25 vacancies within the Yuma area for a new position, Border Patrol Processing Coordinator.

The Border Patrol Processing Coordinator is a full-time, term appointment position and starts at a salary of $34,916.00 (GS-05, Step 1) to $50,598.00 (GS-06, Step 10) with promotion potential to $50,598 (GS-6, Step 10). Coordinators will be responsible for leveraging their expertise to support Border Patrol agents with humanitarian care and intake processing of detainees, as well as providing other clerical/administrative support to agents and other agency personnel.

Successful candidates for this exciting opportunity will strengthen homeland security by providing expert technical assistance to personnel and partners working with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
