Laredo, Texas- The Laredo Sector Border Patrol participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony for Kazenopolis.  Kazenopolis is a simulated city allowing for the children of Kazen Elementary to create a virtual society and become citizens in Kazenopolis by playing the role of every day citizens through the replication of businesses and organizations.

Thirteen students from Kazen Elementary participated in Kazenopolis as Junior Border Patrol agents to promote community safety and security.  Assistant Chief Patrol Agent Milton Moreno conducted the Oath of Office, swearing-in the Junior Border Patrol agents in front of community leaders and participating partners.

The United States Border Patrol is a huge advocate of promoting community safety and security.  Programs like Kazenopolis allows Border Patrol to engage with the community to set the tone with young kids on how to be good citizens and positive contributors to our society.
