EAGLE PASS, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Eagle Pass Station arrest a convicted sex offender, Aug. 19.
“This arrest marks the second convicted sex offender in Del Rio Sector in as many days," said Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Austin L. Skero II. “This is a stark reminder of the important role border security plays in protecting our communities.”
Agents apprehended Mario Salvador Lopez-Martinez, 43, a citizen of Honduras, after he entered the United States illegally.
