CBP Welcomes New Director of Field Operations - Guadalupe Ramirez Jr. Change of Command Ceremony

NOGALES, Ariz.-- U.S. Customs and Border Protection will host a Change of Command ceremony at the El Conquistador Resort on Thursday, April, 18 2019, at 10 a.m., to commemorate Mr. Guadalupe Ramirez Jr. swearing in as the newly selected CBP, Office of Field Operations, Director of Field Operations, Tucson, Arizona 

As the new director, Mr. Ramirez will have oversight of operations of eight ports of entry in Arizona and its personnel at these locations, to include, CBP officers, Agriculture Specialist, Import and Mission Support specialists, and others.

What: Change of Command Ceremony

When: Thursday, April 18, 2019, 10 a.m. (local time)

Where: El Conquistador Hilton Resort (Coronado Ballroom), 10000 North Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85704

Who: Randy Howe, Executive Director of Operations, CBP Office of Field Operations and Guadalupe Ramirez Jr., Director of Field Operations, CBP Tucson Field Office                                          

** Ceremony is by invitation only and media credentials are required **                          

Credentialed media representatives wishing to attend must RSVP no later than Noon, April 17 via email at Teresa.g.small@cbp.dhs.gov.  Upon arrival, please report to the media sign in table at the Coronado ballroom. Arrive no later than 9:30 a.m., please.
