RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Rio Grande City Station assisted the Rio Grande City Police Department in locating an elderly man, who was disoriented and lost in the brush, early Tuesday morning.
The man was found after the Rio Grande City Police Department requested assistance from Border Patrol agents in locating an elderly man who was lost in the brush. Border Patrol Mobile Response Team (MRT) members, Office of Air and Marine personnel, and Rio Grande City Station agents immediately responded to assist with the search. A short time later, police found the man. He was evaluated by MRT agents as well as first responders and was found to be in stable condition. He was taken to his residence and reunited with his family.
