Niagara Regional Police Join CBP Honor Guard at Buffalo Season Opener

BUFFALO, N.Y. – On April 9, with grey skies and rain threatening, the Bisons AAA baseball team opened their 2015 season with the CBP Buffalo Honor Guard presenting the nation's colors.

Delivering a flawless performance before an excited crowd,  CBP honor guard members paraded the colors as a middle-school student sang the Star Spangled Banner.

The CBP Buffalo Honor Guard, comprised of officers from the Office of Field Operations and agents from the Border Patrol, welcomed a new addition to their ranks - an officer from the Niagara Regional Police, to present the Canadian flag as a sign of cross-border collaboration and friendship.

Delivering a flawless performance before an excited crowd, CBP honor guard members paraded the colors as a middle-school student sang the Star Spangled Banner.

Following the flag presentation, the ceremonial first pitch was thrown out by the Buffalo Bills new head football coach Rex Ryan, who paused afterwards to pose for pictures with honor guard members, thanking them for their service and dedication.

The CBP Buffalo Honor Guard was established in 2009 and has represented CBP at regional and international events.
