Laredo Sector Border Patrol Renders Medical Aid to Lost Individual

LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Laredo Sector located an injured individual who was lost and in need of medical attention. 

The incident occurred on the morning of May 8, after agents received a report of an individual who was lost near Mangana-Hein Road.  Within 20 minutes of searching for the individual, agents located a woman who had a leg injury.  The agents rendered first aid and was later transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.  The woman was determined to be from Mexico and in the United States illegally.  She will remain in Border Patrol custody pending her medical clearance.   

Despite the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, Border Patrol agents are trained and ready to respond to emergencies while securing the border and protecting our nation.
