STERLING, Va. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO), at Washington Dulles International Airport arrested a U.S. citizen Saturday who was wanted by the Osceola County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office on charges of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor.
Pierre Felaxo Cenatus, 30, of Kissimmee, Fla., arrived on a flight from Canada. CBP officers identified Cenatus as the subject of the arrest warrant, verified the validity of the warrant, and confirmed extradition. CBP officers arrested Cenatus and turned him over to Metropolitan Airport Authority Police for extradition.
“The United States welcomes the world however; CBP remains ever vigilant in intercepting those travelers that our laws identify as needing further scrutiny,” said Wayne Biondi CBP Area Port Director for the Port of Washington Dulles.
CBP conducts inspection operations and intercepts currency, weapons, prohibited agriculture products or other illicit items, and on average arrests 21 wanted persons a day at U. S. Ports of entry nationwide.
Travelers are encouraged to visit CBP’s Travel website to learn rules governing travel to and from the U.S.
Criminal charges are merely allegations. Defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
