Chief Mountain Closes for Season on September 30

CHIEF MOUNTAIN, Mont. —  U.S. Customs and Border Protection Office of Field Operations announces the winter closing of the port of Chief Mountain, Montana. The port will close at 6:00 p.m. MDT on Tuesday, September 30. Canada Border Services Agency will also close their Port of Chief Mountain, Alberta, on Sept. 30 at 6:00 p.m.

The Port of Chief Mountain will re-open on May 15, 2015.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is the unified border agency within the Department of Homeland Security charged with the management, control and protection of our nation's borders at and between the official ports of entry. CBP is charged with keeping terrorists and terrorist weapons out of the country while enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws.
