LANCASTER, Minn. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations Area Port of Pembina announces that the return to summer hours at the Port of Lancaster is delayed due to current travel restrictions as a result of COVID-19.
Normally, Lancaster would have begun its summer hours schedule on May 10. However, this year, the resumption of the summer hours will be delayed until further notice.
The port of Lancaster will continue operating on the winter hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days per week, until further notice for passenger traffic which has been determined to be “essential” and permitted commercial vehicles.
Travelers wishing to cross into the U.S. when the port is closed may use the Pembina, North Dakota, Port of Entry, which is open 24 hours and located approximately 30 miles west of Lancaster.
