Border Patrol Agents Rescue Individual in Distress

BRACKETTVILLE, TexasU.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Brackettville Station rescued a man in distress with assistance from several agencies and international law enforcement partners, Aug. 15.

Agents assigned to the Del Rio Sector Border Intelligence Center were contacted by the El Paso Sector FBI Task Force regarding a Mexican national who was lost and in need of help near Quemado. Information from state officials in Chihuahua, Mexico reached the El Paso FBI Task Force after a family received multiple calls and pictures from a lost relative. After a brief search of the subject’s last known location, Brackettville Station Border Patrol agents were able to successfully locate the individual and render aid.

The subject will be processed per CBP guidelines.
