389 Pounds of Marijuana Seized Near Gila Bend

YUMA, Ariz. – Wellton Border Patrol agents assisted by a Yuma sector detection canine encountered and arrested five illegal immigrants in two separate weekend incidences near Gila Bend. 

Agents observed the subjects carrying several bundles of marijuana into the United States. In total, agents seized approximately 389 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $194,500.
