Yuma Sector Border Patrol Agents Seize 367 Pounds of Marijuana Valued at $183,500

YUMA, Ariz. — Yuma Border Patrol Sector agents assigned to Wellton Station seized 367 pounds of marijuana, worth an estimated $183,500, on Jan. 27. 

Agents working near Ajo found eight abandoned backpacks in the desert.  The backpacks each held two marijuana bundles, with a combined weight of 367 pounds. 

The marijuana was processed per Yuma Sector guidelines.
