YUMA, Ariz. — Yuma Sector agents patrolling near Gila Bend arrested three men and seized 336 pounds of marijuana Thursday worth an estimated $168,000.
Agents assigned to Wellton Station spotted the men walking north through the desert toward Interstate 8 near Gila Bend. When agents arrived, they found the trio hiding next to seven makeshift backpacks containing marijuana.
All three men and the marijuana were turned over to Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
