REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Use entry type code 02, 06, 07, 12, 23, 32, 38, or 52.

Report kilograms as the first unit of measure and liters as the second unit of measure in the second tariff field.

SPECIAL REPORTING REQUIREMENTS:

Products from Mexico are not to be permitted or included in the quantitative limitation and shall not be classified using the in-quota HTS numbers.

For the purpose of administering tariff rate quotas containing minimum access quantities, imports will be applied to the minimum access quantity for a specific country. Once the minimum access has been reached, subsequent imports will be applied to the Other Countries/Areas allocation if available.

Please refer to Chapter 99, Subchapter IV, U.S. Note 1 for the list of countries that are not subject to additional agricultural safeguard duties under heading 9904.

DISTRIBUTION:

Please ensure that this notice is passed to all port directors, assistant port directors (Trade), import specialists, entry specialists, CBP officers, and other interested parties such as brokers and importers.

NOTIFICATION:

No further editions of this QBT for Ice Cream, Chapter 21 AUSN 5, will be issued until amendments in agreements or changes in quota amounts occur.
