RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas – Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station (RGC) agents encountered an unaccompanied two-year-old child within a group of migrants illegally present in the United States near Roma, Texas.

EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station (RGC) agents encountered two large groups near La Grulla and disrupted a marijuana smuggling event with the assistance of Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers.   

On November 6 and 7, Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station (RGC) agents encountered two large groups totaling 283 migrants at the same location in Starr County. The groups were comprised of 44 family members, 58 unaccompanied children, and 181 single adults. The migrants were from Jamaica, and various Central and South American countries.   

LA GRULLA, Texas – Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station (RGC) agents encountered noncitizen unaccompanied (NUC) minor siblings with their U.S. point of contact written on their shirts.

EL PASO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol Agents in the El Paso Sector recently identified 10 adults posing as unaccompanied minors while in custody.

EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Sector U.S. Border Patrol Agents discovered more stash houses this week.  

EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) agents disrupt two smuggling attempts and encounter three large groups.

ROMA, Texas – Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station (RGC) agents encounter an unaccompanied two-year-old boy near the Rio Grande.

EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol (RGV) agents interdicted nine migrant smuggling events resulting in more than 400 arrests and seized marijuana bundles valued in excess of $93,000 USD.  

DEl RIO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Del Rio Sector encountered more than 160 unaccompanied migrant children from Feb. 4-11.

This fiscal year, between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, 2021, the Del Rio Sector has already encountered 2,280 unaccompanied juveniles, compared to only 1,305 during the same time last year.
