MURRIETA, Calif., — U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Newton-Azrak Station saved a woman trapped inside her smoking vehicle following a severe accident on Tuesday morning when agents encountered the accident involving two civilian vehicles at the Temecula Parkway off-ramp from north Interstate 15. One vehicle was engulfed in smoke with an unconscious woman trapped inside. The vehicle remained in drive with the tires continuing to spin after the collision.

Jacumba, Calif., — San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents rescued a child who was injured in an off-road racing accident over the weekend.
On Saturday, Border Patrol agents responded to a call for assistance from a group of people gathered south of the primary border barrier near Jacumba, California. Upon speaking with the people, agents were informed that a 6-year-old child was struck by a utility terrain vehicle during an off-road race in Jacume, Mexico, and was suffering from a head injury.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) today released operational statistics for June 2023, which show a significant and continuing decline in migrant encounters along the Southwest border as well as successful drug interdiction efforts resulting from new enforcement initiatives. CBP’s total encounters along the Southwest border in June were the lowest in over two years, dropping nearly a third from May.
MISSION, Texas – McAllen Border Patrol Station (MCS) received a phone call for two subjects in distress downriver of the Anzalduas Dam, near Mission, Texas.
On June 14, 2023, agents responded to a distress call and observed two subjects, mother and son, struggling against the strong current of the river. CBP Air and Marine Operations aircraft personnel were able to maintain visual contact and coordinate with agents specially trained in swift water rescue.
Warroad, M.N. - U.S. Border Patrol agents and multiple local emergency agencies rescued a group of nine individuals in distress after exposure to harsh weather conditions near Warroad, Minnesota. All of them were transported, with one being medically airlifted, to regional medical facilities for treatment related to the cold weather exposure.
