Miami CBP Officer Awarded Homeland Security Investigations Partner of the Year Award

Miami Office of Field Operations CBP Officer Mark Mayer received U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Exemplary Partnership Award at the HSI Executive Associate Director's Annual Awards Ceremony. The ceremony took place at HSI's Headquarters in Washington DC on August 30.

Since early 2009 Officer Mayer, a member of the OFO Miami-Tactical Analytical Unit has provided multiple referrals and analytical support to ICE/HSI attaches worldwide in furtherance of the DHS mission. HSI awarded Officer Mayer this honor in recognition of his successful efforts which lead to twenty-two seizures and/or arrests in FY 11 alone.

The Miami Field Office is very proud of Officer Mayer's accomplishments. Director of Field Operations, Vernon Foret commended Officer Mayer's efforts, saying, " Officer Mayer's dedication to duty and the CBP mission exemplify CBP's core values and are an inspiration to all that know him."

The Miami Office of Field Operations is united in congratulating Officer Mark Mayer for an outstanding Job.
