    On April 1, 2022, a mobile video surveillance system operator notified Border Patrol agents that several undocumented migrants were climbing the International Border Barrier near Clint, Texas, approximately 12 miles west of the Tornillo Port of Entry. A certified Emergency Medical Technician responded and located two men who sustained injuries from apparent falls from the International Border Barrier. One of the men, a citizen of Mexico, was unconscious. The EMT immediately requested Emergency Medical Services, then rendered aid to the man.

    On March 16, 2022, a U.S. Border Patrol Sector El Paso, Texas, remote video surveillance system operator notified Border Patrol agents that two undocumented migrants were climbing the international border barrier approximately four-tenths of a mile west of U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Paso Del Norte port of entry in El Paso.

    On March 17, 2022, at approximately 8:19 p.m., a U.S. Border Patrol agent operating a mobile video surveillance system observed a group of six suspected undocumented migrants climbing the international border barrier approximately two miles northwest of U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s port of entry in Tornillo, Texas.

    On March 19, 2022, at approximately 7:54 a.m. CST, personnel at the U.S. Border Patrol’s Uvalde Station were notified by the Del Rio Border Intelligence Center of a 911 call placed by a 45-year-old undocumented Mexican migrant who indicated he was in medical distress and could no longer walk. The Border Intelligence Center was able to obtain coordinates during a telephone call with the man which placed him in a remote area approximately 18 miles west of La Pryor, Texas. A Border Patrol Agent responded to the area and began to search for him.

    On March 7, 2022, at approximately 11:07 p.m. MST, a Border Patrol camera operator observed a group of suspected undocumented migrants load into a vehicle on Interstate 19’s East Frontage Road, near Amado, Ariz. in the vicinity of kilometer post 42. This area is two-tenths of a mile south of Amado Mantosa Road and approximately 26 miles north of the Nogales Port of Entry. The camera operator alerted Border Patrol agents of the location via radio.

    On February 19, 2022, at approximately 9:00 p.m. MST, two Border Patrol agents assigned to the Douglas Border Patrol Station Horse Patrol Unit responded to reports of possible undocumented migrants in a remote mountainous area approximately 32 miles northeast of Douglas, Ariz. Upon their arrival to the area, the Border Patrol agents dismounted their horses due to the terrain. The Border Patrol agents subsequently apprehended three undocumented migrants.

    On Feb. 1, 2022, at approximately 3:17 p.m. PST, a Border Patrol remote camera operator spotted three individuals cross the border barrier and enter the All-American Canal, approximately two-tenths of a mile east of the Calexico East Port of Entry in Calexico, Calif.  The camera operator relayed the information via radio to a Border Patrol agent who responded to the area.

    On Jan. 20, 2022, a Border Patrol agent apprehended a group of 16 undocumented migrants, including a male citizen of Haiti, approximately two miles northwest of the San Luis Port of Entry. The group was transported to the Yuma Sector Centralized Processing Center (CPC). At approximately 4:01 p.m., the man arrived at the CPC.

    On Friday evening, Jan. 21, a U.S. Border Patrol agent was involved in a single-vehicle accident with injuries near Eagle Pass, Texas. At the time of the accident, the agent was transporting six undocumented migrants, with the assistance of the Texas Department of Public Safety. A Texas DPS trooper was seriously injured during the accident and has passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with the trooper, his family, and the Texas DPS.

    OTAY MESA, Calif. -- On Jan. 12, 2022, at approximately 1:45 p.m. PST, a Border Patrol remote camera operator spotted nine suspected undocumented noncitizens cross into the United States in an industrial area west of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry.  The camera operator radioed to Border Patrol agents, who responded to the area.  A Border Patrol agent apprehended a 38-year-old citizen of Mexico north of the secondary Border Barrier.

    On Dec. 14, 2021, a National Guardsman operating an infrared camera observed a group of suspected undocumented migrants climbing over the International Border Barrier approximately six- and three-quarter miles east of the Santa Teresa Port of Entry, near Sunland Park, New Mexico.  The National Guardsman observed the last migrant appeared to be stuck at the top of the IBB before falling and landing at its base where he remained motionless.   A Border Patrol Agent assigned to the U.S.

    A U.S. Border Patrol camera operator observed three suspected migrants walking through a flat field approximately two and a half miles northeast of the Eagle Pass, Texas, Port of Entry on Oct. 28, 2021. Five Border Patrol Agents assigned to the Eagle Pass Station responded to the area in an attempt to locate the migrants.  At approximately 4:58 a.m.

    On Oct. 6, 2021, at approximately 11:24 p.m., personnel at the U.S. Border Patrol station in Kingsville, TX, were contacted by an anonymous caller who reported an individual lying in a field who may have been bitten by a spider.  The caller provided GPS coordinates for the individual’s location.  Border Patrol Agents responded to the area in search of the individual.  On Oct. 7, 2021, at approximately 12:50 a.m., Border Patrol Agents located an unresponsive citizen of Honduras.  Border Patrol Agents immediately requested Emergency Medical Technicians and Emergency Medical Services.

    A Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States and citizen of Bosnia arrived with his wife at the Washington-Dulles Airport Port of Entry from Vienna, Austria, on September 27. The couple was admitted into the U.S. and then selected for a random agriculture inspection. The man collapsed onto the floor during the inspection and was unresponsive.

    RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas - Border Patrol Agents assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol Station in Rio Grande City, Texas, encountered a large group of migrants approximately nine and one quarter miles southeast of the Rio Grande City Port of Entry at approximately 2:30 a.m. on September 20, 2021.  The migrants turned themselves in to the agents after crossing the Rio Grande River.  The Border Patrol Agents escorted the group to a nearby unimproved roadway to field process the group.

    Personnel at the U.S. Border Patrol Laredo South Station were notified by Laredo Sector Communications of a 911 call placed by an undocumented migrant at about 1:00 p.m. on September 20, 2021. The undocumented migrant, a citizen of Mexico, indicated he was lost and in medical distress. During a subsequent call from the man, Border Patrol Agents were able to obtain coordinates that placed him in a remote area, approximately 10 miles southwest of Aguilares, Texas.  Border Patrol Agents responded to the area and began to search for the man.

    A Border Patrol Agent assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol Tactical Checkpoint in Deming, N.M., reported a black Acura SUV had circumvented the checkpoint and was traveling northbound on Highway 11 at approximately 12:36 p.m. on September 18, 2021. A Border Patrol Agent assigned to the checkpoint then traveled northbound in a Border Patrol vehicle to catch up to the SUV while another Border Patrol Agent in a different Border Patrol vehicle also attempted to locate the vehicle.

    On September 9, 2021, U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) Deming Station was notified of a 911 call from an individual stating he and another individual, who was in medical distress, were lost in the desert.  Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) responded to the GPS coordinates obtained by the 911 telephone call and located the undocumented migrant who placed the call approximately eight and half miles northeast of the Port of Entry in Columbus, N.M.  BPAs were then led to another undocumented migrant, a male citizen of Mexico, who was in severe medical distress.

    On September 3, 2021, a Border Patrol camera operator observed a migrant, later identified as a male citizen of Mexico, fall from the International Border Barrier approximately one-half mile west of the Calexico, CA, Port of Entry.  Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) responded to the scene and discovered the man sustained an injury to his left leg.  BPAs notified the Calexico Fire Department, which responded to the scene and transported the man to a hospital in El Centro, CA.  The man was later transferred to a hospital in San Diego, CA.
