Yuma Border Patrol Seizes $138,500 in Marijuana

YUMA, Ariz. — Yuma Sector agents assigned to Wellton Station seized 277 pounds of marijuana Jan. 5 worth an estimated $138,500.

Agents patrolling near Gila Bend arrested five individuals found walking toward Interstate 8 with six camouflaged backpacks filled with marijuana.

All of the individuals and marijuana were processed per Yuma Sector guidelines.
