U.S. Border Patrol Weekly Blotter, Blaine Sector Oct. 31 - Nov. 6

Blaine, Wash. - The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.

10/31/2011- Agents apprehended a citizen of Mexico after a vehicle stop on Badger Rd near Lynden, Wash. The driver of the vehicle admitted to being illegally present in the U.S. The driver was processed for reinstatement of a prior removal.

10/31/2011- Agents responded to a request for assistance from the Bellingham Police Department and encountered a Mexican citizen who admitted to being illegally present in the U.S. The subject was arrested and processed for reinstatement of a prior removal.

11/01/2011- Personnel monitoring a remote video surveillance system observed a person running south from the border area in the vicinity of Lincoln Park in Blaine, Wash. Responding agents encountered a Canadian citizen who admitted to having just crossed illegally into the U.S. through the woods. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

11/02/2011- Agents responded to a Whatcom County Sheriffs office request for assistance with two subjects who fled from a vehicle stop on foot near the intersection of Grandview and Enterprise Road near Ferndale, Wash. The two subjects who fled were subsequently apprehended and admitted to being Mexican citizens illegally present in the U.S. and were processed for removal.

11/05/2011- Agents responding to a request for assistance by the Lynden Police Department encountered three Mexican citizens. Agents determined that all three Mexican citizens were illegally present in the U.S. All three subjects were processed for removal.
