U.S. Border Patrol Weekly Blotter, Blaine Sector Nov. 14-Nov. 20

Blaine, Wash. - The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.

11/14/2011- Agents responded to a Forks Police Department notification that two subjects with immigration detainers were scheduled to be released. Agents took custody of two Mexican citizens illegally present in the United States. Subjects were processed for removal.

11/14/2011- Agents encountered a vehicle parked on the side of Snyder Camp Road off Hwy 101 near Forks, WA. Record checks on the registered owner indicated that the owner of the vehicle had been previously removed from the United States. Agents canvassed the area and encountered two subjects, one being the registered owner. Both subjects admitted to being Mexican citizens illegally present in the United States and were processed for removal.

11/14/2011- Agents apprehended a German citizen who had admitted to entering illegally into the United States on foot just west of the Sumas Port of Entry. The Subject was processed for removal.

11/14/2011- Agents encountered two citizens of India hiding in the ditch near Boundary and Bender roads, near Lynden, WA. in close proximity to the international boundary. The two Indian citizens admitted to being in the United States illegally. Both subjects stated they had intended to enter into Canada illegally.

The Indian Citizens were processed for removal.

11/20/2011- Agents responded to a Blaine Police Department request for assistance with a subject who had a possible warrant. Agents responded and encountered two Mexican citizens illegally present in the United States. The driver was taken into police custody with an active warrant. The passenger of the vehicle was processed for removal and an immigration detainer was placed on the driver.

11/20/2011- Remote Video Surveillance System operators observed a subject enter illegally into the United States by jumping the ditch near 6th and A St. in Blaine, WA. The subject was encountered and was determined to be a citizen of Poland illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
