U.S. Border Patrol Weekly Blotter, Blaine Sector June 6 - June 26, 2013

BLAINE, WASH.—The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to the U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.

06/13/2013 - Agents responded to a concerned citizen's report of a suspicious individual near the United States/Canada border north of Lynden, Wash. Agents located the subject attempting to hide in a nearby berry field. The subject, a citizen of Canada, was determined to be illegally present in the United States. A records check indicated that the subject had been previously removed from the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for reinstatement of a prior order of removal.

06/19/2013 - While patrolling the border, agents encountered three people near the United States/Canada border in a rural area east of Sumas, Wash. The subjects, citizens of Mexico, were determined to be illegally present in the United States. A records check indicated that two of the subjects had been previously removed from the United States. All subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

06/22/2013 - Agents observed an individual illegally enter the United States and get into a waiting vehicle in Blaine, Wash. Agents conducted a stop of the vehicle and determined the driver was knowingly transporting an illegal immigrant in violation of the law. The driver, a citizen of Canada, and the passenger, a citizen of India, were both determined to be illegally present in the United States. Both subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

06/22/2013 - While patrolling the border in Blaine, Wash., agents observed a person in close proximity to the United States/Canada border attempting to hide in the bushes. The subject, a citizen of China, was determined to be illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
