BLAINE, WASH.—The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to the U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.
03/04/2013 - U.S. Border Patrol agents encountered two people in Point Roberts, Washington in close proximity to the U.S./Canada border. Both subjects, citizens of Canada, were determined to be illegally present in the United States. The subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.
03/08/2013 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System observed a subject walking southbound from the U.S./Canada border in Blaine, Washington. Agents responding to the area encountered the individual, a Canadian citizen illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
03/09/2013 - A Remote Video Surveillance System operator observed an individual walking southbound from the U.S./Canada border near east of Sumas, Washington. Responding agents located the subject in a heavily wooded area. The subject, an Algerian citizen illegally present in the United States, was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
03/11/2013 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System observed an individual hiding in a ditch in close proximity to the U.S./Canada border west of Sumas, Washington. Agents responded to the area and located the subject, a citizen of Nicaragua, determined to be illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
03/12/2013 - Agents encountered an individual covered in mud near the U.S./Canada border north of Lynden, Washington. The subject, determined to be a citizen of India illegally present in the United States, was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
