BLAINE, WASH.—The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to the U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.

12/27/2012 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System witnessed an individual illegally cross the U.S./Canada border in Blaine, Washington. Agents responded to the area and located the person, a citizen of El Salvador, determined to be illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

01/01/2013 - Four people were observed illegally crossing the U.S./Canada border east of Sumas, Washington by operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System. Agents responded to the area and located the group, citizens of El Salvador, determined to be illegally present in the United States. The group was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

01/04/2013 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System observed a group of four people illegally cross the U.S./Canada border near Sumas, Washington. After a brief foot chase, responding agents apprehended the subjects. The group, three citizens of Honduras and one citizen of Canada, were determined to be illegally present in the United States. All four subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

01/08/2013 - A concerned citizen reported a suspicious individual near the United States/Canada border in Blaine, Washington. Agents responded to the area and with the assistance of a K-9 team located the subject, a citizen of France, determined to be illegally present in the United States. A records check indicated that the subject had been previously removed from the United States. The subject was processed for reinstatement of a prior order of removal.

01/09/2013 - U.S. Border Patrol agents were notified by a concerned citizen of a potential illegal entry near Blaine, Washington. The subject, a citizen of Canada, was located and determined to be illegally present in the United States. A records check indicated that the subject had been previously removed from the United States. The subject was processed for reinstatement of a prior order of removal.
