U.S. Border Patrol to Join Post Falls PD Open House

POST FALLS, Idaho – Members of the U.S. Border Patrol from the Spokane Sector, in association with the Post Falls Police Department, will be attending an open house Saturday, Aug. 26, hosted by the Post Falls Police Department at 1717 E. Polston Ave.

at the 7th annual Cops-n-Kids and
Rodders-n-More, Saturday in Post Falls,
Idaho.

The 7th Annual Cops-n-Kids and Rodders-n-More Open House will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be many activities happening during this event. In addition, U.S Border Patrol personnel will be available to answer any questions regarding career opportunities with the U.S. Border Patrol. Further information regarding career opportunities can also be found at www.cbp.gov/careers.

Spokane Sector Border Patrol Deputy Chief David BeMiller stated, “The U.S. Border Patrol enjoys opportunities like these to meet members of the communities we serve. We appreciate the Post Falls Police Department for allowing us to join them for this event that is sure to be a fun time for kids and adults alike.”

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is the unified border agency within the Department of Homeland Security charged with the management, control and protection of our nation's borders at and between the official ports of entry. CBP is charged with keeping terrorists and terrorist weapons out of the country while enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws.
