The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program provides new clothing and/or toys for children in need. Each Angel Tree is decorated with numbered paper angel tags with the first name, age and gender of a child who is in need of a gift. Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags.

“The agents and staff that represent the U.S. Border Patrol’s Houlton Sector have risen to the occasion again, just as they have done year after year,” said Acting Chief Patrol Agent Jason Schneider. “If these small actions can bring smiles to children’s faces on Christmas morning, then this mission has been accomplished. I couldn’t be more proud.”
