U.S. Border Patrol Blotter, Blaine Sector : May 25 – June 1, 2014

BLAINE, Wash. – The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to the U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations.  For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.

05/25/2014 – Shortly after midnight, a Remote Video Surveillance System (RVSS) operator witnessed one subject illegally cross the U.S./Canada border near Blaine, Washington.  When agents arrived in the area, they discovered an individual attempting to hide in the brush.  Through questioning, agents determined the subject was a citizen of Russia, illegally present in the United States.  The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

05/30/2014 – Shortly before midnight, a RVSS operator observed two subjects illegally cross the U.S./Canada border near Lynden, Washington. Agents responded to the area and located two subjects attempting to conceal themselves in some brush.  Through questioning agents determined the subjects were citizens of India and Bangladesh, and were unlawfully present in the United States.  The subjects were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

06/01/2014 – An RVSS operator witnessed an individual illegally cross the U.S./Canada border in Blaine, Washington.  Agents responded to the area, located the individual, and determined the subject to be a citizen of Canada, unlawfully present in the United States.  The subject was granted a voluntary return to Canada.
