U.S. Border Patrol Blotter, Blaine Sector March 6-March 26, 2014

BLAINE, Wash. – The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to the U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations.  For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.

03/07/2014 – Agents encountered a suspicious individual in close proximity to the U.S./Canada border in Blaine, Washington.  Through questioning, agents determined that the subject was a citizen of Mexico, unlawfully present in the United States.  The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

03/16/2014 – In the early evening hours, agents responded to possible illegal cross-border activity near Lynden, Washington.  When agents arrived in the area, they encountered an individual in close proximity to the international border.  Agents determined that the subject was a citizen of China, illegally present in the United States.  The subject was arrested and processed for removal. 

03/25/2014 – A Remote Video Surveillance System operator witnessed an individual illegally cross the U.S./Canada border in Blaine, Washington.  Agents responded to the area and located a subject walking south from the border.  Agents determined that the subject was a citizen of Honduras, illegally present in the United States.  The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

03/26/2014 – U.S. Border Patrol agents responded to possible illegal cross-border activity east of Blaine, Washington. When agents arrived in the area, they observed one subject walking south from the international border.  Agents questioned the subject and determined the subject was a citizen of Canada, illegally present in the United States.  The subject was returned to Canada.
