The second incident occurred at approximately 10:22 p.m., when agents assigned to the Indio Station’s Highway 111 checkpoint encountered a white Toyota Tundra attempting to travel north through the checkpoint. During an interview of the driver and passenger, it was determined that they were both undocumented and attempting to transport an additional two undocumented individuals in the vehicle. The driver, passenger, and both occupants were arrested and transported to the El Centro Sector Processing Center to be processed accordingly.
