Three criminals, three Border Patrol stations, one safer Rio Grande Valley

EDINBURG, Texas – In the past few days, the Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol arrested a child abuser and two sex offenders Border Patrol arrests three crimals in several daysas they attempted to illegally enter the United States.

Agents assigned to the Rio Grande City Border Patrol Station apprehended an Ecuadoran national near Rio Grande City, Texas. A check of the male subject’s criminal history revealed that he was convicted of sexual assault in Minnesota.

Falfurrias agents caught a male Mexican national near Encino, Texas. Record checks disclosed that the man was convicted of battery of a child and had been arrested for homicide in Florida.

agents arrested a Salvadoran national near Progreso, Texas. It was later discovered that the female subject had been convicted of a sexual offender offense. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by seven years of probation.
