Mission, TX - U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced that at the end of the month the SENTRI, FAST and Global Entry Enrollment Center will be moving from the McAllen Foreign Trade Zone to the Anzalduas International Bridge.
Effective August 29, 2011 the SENTRI, FAST and Global Entry Enrollment Center will cease operations at the McAllen Foreign Trade Zone and will move to the Anzalduas Port of Entry. The move should be completed by September 2, 2011.
Signage around the Anzalduas International Bridge has been strategically placed to assist customers in accessing the FAST/SENTRI enrollment center.
Currently, FAST lanes are available at the Pharr, Texas cargo facility while SENTRI lanes are available at the Pharr, Anzalduas and Hidalgo border crossings. A pedestrian SENTRI lane is also available at the Hidalgo Port of Entry.
The new FAST, SENTRI and Global Entry Enrollment Center at the Anzalduas International Bridge will remain operational Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will close on weekends. Persons wishing to contact the new offices may do so by calling (956) 205-7929.
Efrain Solis Jr., Acting CBP Port Director, Hidalgo/Pharr/Anzalduas said," Travelers will now have a great opportunity to stop at the Port and conduct business whether for a travel permit or to visit to our enrollment center." Solis further said, "It is a time saving effort and our goal is to provide a better service to our many customers."

CBP is charged with keeping terrorists and terrorist weapons out of the country while enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws.
