Sarita, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Rio Grande Valley Sector seized 7.65 pounds of cocaine on Tuesday.
On June 2, 2015, a white 2000 Chevrolet Silverado with one occupant approached the primary inspection lane at the Sarita Border Patrol Checkpoint. During the inspection a K9 alerted to the vehicle which led to the discovery of 6 bundles of cocaine concealed in the vehicle’s battery. The subject was placed under arrest and the narcotics were seized.
