LA JOYA, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents confiscated almost 400 pounds of marijuana early Tuesday morning.
The seizure occurred when agents assigned to the McAllen Station observed several smugglers carrying bundles of narcotics. Agents converged on the area and seized a total of 35 bundles of marijuana, with an estimated value of $317,600, and arrested three subjects.
The marijuana and the arrested individuals were transported to the McAllen Station for processing.
