HIDALGO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Weslaco Station arrested a convicted murderer on Dec. 28, who was attempting to illegally enter the United States.
The man, who is a Mexican national, was part of a group of seven illegal immigrants arrested near Hidalgo. During processing it was discovered that he had a prior murder conviction in Hidalgo County.
The man will be processed accordingly and referred for prosecution.
