A day earlier at the same crossing, officers referred a 27-year-old woman for a search of her Honda SUV and found 16 pounds of meth, worth $48,000, with the assistance of a narcotics-detection canine.

Officers seized the drugs and vehicles, and turned the subjects over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
