TUCSON, Ariz. – Douglas Station Border Patrol agents seized a bundle of marijuana weighing more than 96 pounds after seeing an object fly over the border fence Wednesday evening.
After agents operating remote video surveillance technology saw an object launched over the border near H Avenue and 1st Street in Douglas, other agents immediately responded to search the area. Moments later, agents found a large cylindrical bundle containing $48,000 worth of marijuana.
Agents seized the marijuana but no arrests have been made at this time.
