Laredo Sector Border Patrol Selects May Youth of the Month Recipients

Laredo, Texas – On April 27, 2016, The Laredo Sector Border Patrol honored 10 local seniors for the prestigious Laredo Sector Border Patrol Youth of the Month Award.  The ceremony was hosted by Martin High School.

For more than 28 years, the Laredo Sector Border Patrol “Youth of the Month” program has recognized Laredo’s top high school students. Each month, one student is selected from the Laredo-area high schools as Border Patrol Youth of the Month.  At the end of the school year, the ten Youth of the Month recipients are considered for the Youth of the Year award.

The following students were chosen for this award:

  • Adelie Perkins- Texas Academy of International and STEM Studies
  • Maximiliano Ramos- St. Augustine High School
  • Itzel Martinez- United High School
  • Jessica Rodriguez- United South High School
  • Rigoberto Hernandez- Laredo Early College High School at TAMIU
