Laredo Sector Border Patrol Holds Promotion Ceremony

LAREDO, Texas – Laredo Sector Border Patrol Acting Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Jaime Salazar, presented new insignia ranks and certificates to 37 Border Patrol agents and 6 promotion certificates to Sector employees during a ceremony held on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at the UISD Student Activity Center.

The selection and promotion of yesterday’s ceremony included promotion ranks from Assistant Chief Patrol Agent, Deputy Patrol Agent in Charge, Operations Officer, Special Operations Supervisor, Watch Commander, Supervisory Border Patrol Agent, Supervisory Mission Support Specialist, Mission Support Specialist and Assistant.

“We congratulate the Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents and professional staff on their well-deserved promotion.  They have taken the challenge to lead. Yesterday, we celebrated along with their family and congratulated them in their new role and responsibilities.  I know they will excel in their new position,” said Acting Deputy Chief Jaime Salazar.
