Laredo Sector Border Patrol Commences R.E.A.L. Mission Program Class 13
What: Laredo Sector Border Patrol R.E.A.L. (Rewarding Education, Attitude, and Leadership) Program.

Who: Acting Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens and Honorable Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 Jose "Pepe" Salinas
About: The Rewarding Education, Attitude, and Leadership (R.E.A.L.) Mission Program was created by Border Patrol through partnership with former Justice of the Peace Oscar Martinez in 2010 and is currently under the guidance of Judge Jose "Pepe" Salinas.
A total of 18 students will commence the eight-week program which will consist of class sessions, physical training, and community service. The overall mission is to provide a mentorship program that emphasizes respect, education, leadership skills, teamwork, and community service.
This is a court-mandated program with classes being held twice a week.
