LAREDO, Texas –On January 31, 2018, Border Patrol agents assisted the Laredo Police Department in searching for a missing child in Laredo, Texas. Agents with the Laredo Sector Special Operations Detachment quickly deployed to assist with the search of the child using track and trail canines. CBP Air and Marine Operations helicopters were also deployed to the area to assist in searching for the lost child. The child was rescued by Border Patrol agents after he was located inside a creek near Washington Middle School. The child was found in good health and reunited with his mother.
