Laredo Sector Border Patrol Agents Rescue Illegal Aliens

LAREDO, Texas – On March 2, 2018, Border Patrol agents responded to a request for assistance involving an individual lost in a ranch near San Ygnacio, Texas.  The subject had resorted to calling 911 after he became lost in the brush.  Border Patrol agents arrived on scene and located the subject in good health.  The subject was determined to be from the country of Mexico and illegally in the United States.

Later that night, Border Patrol agents rescued two female subjects lost in a ranch northwest of Laredo, Texas.  The subjects claimed to be lost and resorted to calling 911 for assistance.  Border Patrol agents arrived on scene and located the two subjects in good health.  The subjects were determined to be from the country of Mexico and illegally in the United States.  

The next day on March 3, 2018, Border Patrol agents responded to a request for assistance involving an individual lost in a ranch near Hebbronville, Texas.  The subject had resorted to calling 911 after he became lost in the brush while walking for four days.  Through coordination with the Webb County Sheriff’s Office and CBP’s Air and Marine Operations helicopter, Border Patrol agents were able to locate and rescue the subject.  The subject, who was found in good health, was determined to be from the country of Mexico and illegally in the United States.

The next day on March 4, 2018, Border Patrol agents rescued an individual lost in a ranch northwest of Laredo, Texas.  The subject had resorted to calling 911 after he became lost in the brush.  Border Patrol agents with the assistance of CBP’s Air and Marine Operations helicopter arrived on scene and located the subject who was displaying signs of dehydration and blisters on his feet.  The subject was determined to be from the country of Mexico and illegally in the United States. 

“These events illustrate how the men and women of the United States Border Patrol not only serve to protect our borders, but are also committed to the preservation of life and assist anyone in need,” said Assistant Chief Patrol Agent Gabriel H. Acosta.
