SALTILLO, Coahuila, Mexico – A long-time target of U.S. Border Patrol’s Del Rio Sector Intelligence Unit has been apprehended through the “Se Busca Información” initiative.

“Se Busca Información” is an initiative in coordination with Joint Task Force West, and officials from the Government of Mexico, in which the Del Rio Sector seeks anonymous information on criminal targets who operate within our border communities.

Target No. 5 on Del Rio Sector’s “Se Busca Información” initiative was arrested on July 9 by Mexican authorities in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila. He was wanted for kidnapping, and aggravated assault for his involvement in violent criminal acts on both sides of the border, such as the attack in Villa Union, Coahuila last year.

“Thanks to information from the public and our partnerships with other agencies on both sides of the border we have apprehended this dangerous criminal,” said Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Austin L. Skero II. “The ‘Se Busca Información’ initiative is a huge success and enhances our ability to keep our neighborhoods, communities and countries safe.”

Take a stand against crime in your community by reporting suspicious activity to the Del Rio Sector Operations Center at 1-866-511-8727 or through the WhatsApp messaging service at 830-313-4557.  All calls are confidential.
